The main purpose of this paper is to evaluate the Impact of privatization and competitive pressure on market power in Iran's manufacturing sector. To achieve this purpose, while using the Manufacturing data from 1381to 1391 SH published by Statistical center of Iran and panel data estimation method, the Hall Roger approach employed. The results of the research indicate the existence of significant monopoly power in Iran's industrial sector, and in addition, the experience of privatization in Iran has not only increased competition in Iran's industrial sector, but also after privatization, the monopoly power in this sector has increased. In other words, in industries such as the production of chemical materials and products, drugs and pharmaceutical chemical products, the production of non-metallic mineral products and the production of basic metals, private monopoly has replaced the state monopoly. According to the results, it was found that privatization in large industries has led to more monopoly power than the entire industry sector. Also, the results confirm "market power doctrine", in such a way that with increasing market concentration, market power increases.
